Let’s Get Loud! Join us for the 3rd Annual Newburyport Pride Parade and the return of the Pride Festival on Saturday, May 31st, 2025. The Parade kicks off at noon, winding through beautiful downtown Newburyport, and the Festival, featuring food trucks, a DJ, vendors, nonprofits and entertainers, is from 1p - 4p in Brown Square.
We’ll celebrate joy, community, and make our voices heard proving that Existence is Resistance!

Announcing the winning theme for Newburyport Pride 2025:
EXISTENCE IS RESISTANCE!
The theme reflects the idea that simply being openly queer in a world that has historically sought to erase, marginalize, and oppress LGBTQ+ identities is an act of defiance and expression of resilience.
Pride has evolved into both a celebration of identity and community, as well as a continued act of resistance. This theme is a powerful statement that our community has always been here and is not going anywhere.
